Marine marker dye conforms to military specification (MIL-S-17980D). The marker contains a fluorescent green dye which spreads over the surface of the water so as to increase ones visibility for a pilot to see. The marker can easily be placed in a life vest pocket, life raft safety kits or in the OxyCheq EDS Pocket. A bright green pattern on the water can be seen for a mile or more and lasts for 30 to 40 minutes. Wind and the choppiness of the water will affect the shape of the pattern. The tube is waterproof to over 300 + Foot (91 + Meters). The tube is sealed and intended to be a one time use, “For Emergency Only”. We pack it full to ensure a maximum spread during an emergency.
